If you wish to go to a place where the sea is azure and time stands still, I suggest the Amalfi Coast of Italy. You will need to take the train to the Naples(Napoli Centrale) Station, then get a train line called the Circumvesuviana(literally means going around Vesuvius, the famous volcano) and stay on it till you get to Sorrento. From Sorrento you will walk into the Tobacconist shop and buy a SITA bus ticket to Positano. There you will find Holiday House Gilda, where time stands still and looks out on the Tyrrhenian Sea. You can take a bus from there to Amalfi.
Take time to see the ceramic pottery as well as the sea, the Cathedral of San Andrea, where the skull of St. Andrew the Apostle is in the crypt.
